Natural Deodorants: Do They Work?

Many consumers complain that natural deodorants just don't work. They purchase a natural deodorant and use it for several days before giving up in frustration. I advise them to give it another try!

As with many natural products, switching to chemical-free deodorants may involve a period of detox for your body. From years of using chemical-laden, aluminum based deodorants, your body has built up a backlog of toxins in your skin and pores. It can take anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks to eliminate stored toxins before your natural deodorant performs as effectively as you would hope.

During that time, you simply need to re-apply the deodorant regularly or when you notice odor. Once your body has flushed out the chemical residues, your natural deodorant should perform to your expectations.
